Garden Wedding

Make your next event or meeting memorable! Rent the grounds at Fall River Historical Society for a wedding or special event, or host a function in Easton Tea Room. Whether you’re planning a social, business, political, or family event, we can provide the perfect location.

Easton Tea Room

The elegantly appointed Easton Tea Room furnishes the perfect location for your private party, bridal or baby shower, or other events, with a maximum of 55 guests. Three intimate rooms are available.

Tea can be enjoyed in the Fuchsia Room, the Empire Rose Room, or the Jardin Room, all located adjacent to the museum building in the circa 1870 Alexander Dorrance Easton residence. The venue features designer interiors and original period details, accented with Victorian antiques.

Our acclaimed version of an English High Tea includes a three-course selection of savories, delicious warm scones made from our exclusive recipes and served with imported Devon clotted cream, delectable petit patisserie, and a variety of Ashby’s Fine English Teas, an established favorite since 1850.

Private Party Menu

The Victorian inspired gardens at the Fall River Historical Society offer a lush, colorful venue for private parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, or the perfect backdrop for photographs. Intimate lawns and bluestone-paved terrace feature established plantings and period garden ornaments, including a rare, nineteenth century cast iron gazebo, the only one remaining in situ in Fall River.

Various areas can be tented to suit your needs via the services of an outside firm recommended by the FRHS, which can also be contracted for rental or furnishings.

The location is very affordable for small- to medium-sized parties, with a suggested maximum seating capacity of 100 guests.

If you want a garden wedding in a beautiful but affordable location, we have just what you’re looking for. Our lovely grounds with Victorian gardens provide a romantic setting for small to medium wedding ceremonies, receptions, or photographs.

Many a bride and groom have exchanged their vows in our elegant 19th century cast-iron gazebo, with family and friends looking on from our flower-bordered stone terrace. The gardens were designed so that your entire day, from start to finish, can be conducted in a lush, verdant environment, and lawn areas can be tented for receptions. Or why not tent our terrace? It’s ideal for dancing.
